Alicia Ellison, is new to the children's book arena and has been working in Corporate America for over 10 years. However, she holds a BS degree Journalism and always loved to write. Her first book was inspired by the resilience of her daughter Aria who has a rare genetic condition. Alicia, has chosen to use children's books as a way to educate children and adults on the feelings and thoughts of special needs children; while also teaching empathy.
