Boudica's War is a fictional rendition of the bloody rebellion of the Briton Iceny Queen, Boudica against the might and power of Rome under Nero's reign in the 1st Century AD.

After she and both her daughters were brutalized, Boudica (in the then Celtic language meaning 'Victory') fought to throw off the yoke of Rome and free the whole of southeastern Briton with the help from the neighboring tribe of Trinovantes.

About Tristan M Armstrong (Austin, Minnesota Author)

Tristan M Armstrong

In Austin, Minnesota where I was born in 1940, I attended grade school at Shaw and then went on to Central High. At Central, I took all the art classes available as well as all the mechanical drawing classes and one year of architectural drawing. Descriptive Geometry also added to my background of putting pen and ink to paper. There were no computerized CAD programs available then. Upon graduating from Central High, I went into the military where my one real accomplishment was to graduate number fourteen out of a class of fifty at a school for Non-Commissioned Officers. Upon leaving the military with an Honorable Discharge, I went to college and ended up studying and working in chemistry.

It was during the adult years that I picked up a diploma in journalism and short story writing through correspondence courses. It was after this that I co-authored two novellas titled: Boudica’s War and Carcassonne Under Siege. As sole author, I now offer Through MisAdventures Lurks Life and Death, which is a collection of 10 short stories encompassing various characters of different time periods sometimes facing severe challenges.
