Kimberly Funk grew up on a farm near Goessel, Kansas and, along with her husband, has enjoyed country living all of her life. Kim served as librarian at the Goessel Public Library for many years. It was during those years that the library outgrew the space where it was located and a new facility was built. Kim is active in her community and church, working with and writing for children most of her life. She is currently administrative assistant at her church and also oversees the local food pantry. Her passion for quilting occupies her spare time and she has made numerous quilts for family, friends and charitable causes. Family and her faith are what she treasures most. Kim and her husband have three children and six grandchildren, who keep them young and lively!
