PADUCAH
Tanya Colbert was pregnant at fifteen and did not know the name of the baby’s father. This was just another one night stand in her life at that time, not caring who the man was, but only how he could pay for her time with him. After the baby was born, Tanya named her Reyna. Tanya decided to change her lifestyle and become someone. After some disappointing jobs, she became a receptionist at a local hotel. There she and Reyna encountered Oliver Paducah, his wife and son, the son being the same age as Reyna. Corbin was enchanted with Reyna because she was so beautiful and Reyna adored Corbin.
Corbin Oliver Paducah, an only child, inherited a small business from his father Oliver Corbin Paducah. Years later Corbin took over the company, he built the business into a multi-billion dollar corporation. After graduating from Harvard, Corbin married Reyna Colbert, daughter of Tanya Colbert who also graduated from Harvard. Corbin and Reyna had two sons, Patrick who became a cardiovascular surgeon, and Paxton.
Paxton Corbin Paducah, Pax, the younger son of Reyna and Corbin, was a very nice young man, but somewhat on the wild side. He realizes his potential after graduating from college and started work in his father’s company. With unexpected events, Paxton’s mother, Reyna, has to hold the businesses together. She gives up a medical practice to run the company, but eventually Paxton takes over the business.
Life unfolds with a mix of personalities that makes for a very telling story.

Jennings third book, PADUCAH is a novel that combines a great deal of imagination to blend the lives of the main characters. The story spans several generations. The love of a gentle young man from a high society family and beautiful and intelligent lady from and unknown background creates the fast moving and sometimes unnerving story of how lives can be tenuous at time. Many current day events are woven into the story with an ending that might surprise the reader.
Jennings has written many articles for numerous magazines over the past years and has co-authored chapters in several healthcare related books. He has also co-authored several white papers on healthcare related issues. Jennings lives with his wife Arleen and their cat Annie in North Charleston, South Carolina.
