Tyler Harrison seems to turn everything he is involved in to gold. A young college graduate with amazing entrepreneurial skills, he begins a rapid rise to the top of the real estate world as a land developer and building contractor in the early 1960s. Tyler is proud, passionate, gorgeous, romantic, generous, and caring; he can have nearly any woman he wants-except for the one he truly loves, his high school sweetheart, Penny Kilmer. The only thing keeping him from her is his pride-or so he thinks.

Intelligent, feisty, funny, and beautiful, Penny knows that Tyler still loves her, just as she has loved him since high school. Penny is a true romantic, and she hopes one day to have him back. Their sensual on-again, off-again relationship spirals toward humbling and climactic events that neither can control. As the years pass and Penny and Tyler gain in wisdom and maturity through triumphs and tragedies in their lives, gradually they make their way back together. But can it last? In this romance novel, two high school sweethearts separated by events and their own stubborn pride are involved in an off-and-on relationship when they slowly come to realize their love for each other.

About Harry Hall (The Villages, Florida Author)

Harry Hall

Harry Hall was born in Buckhannon, West Virginia. It’s a small, sleepy town with a beautiful, private college and an abundance of good people. His youth was spent with great parents, lots of sports, and many young friends. During his junior and senior years of high school, Harry attended Fishburne Military School in Virginia for a little polishing, and he graduated with honors.

After school and some college, he began an entrepreneurial career that continues to this day. Harry has been a land developer, residential and commercial building contractor, restaurant owner, and furniture business owner. One of his proudest accomplishments was returning to college in his late thirties and obtaining degrees in accounting, economics, education, and history.

Although semiretired and living in The Villages, Florida, Hall has remained very active. His interests include flying private planes, riding his Harley, owning and managing a large business in Maryland, dabbling in other business interests, and traveling and playing golf with his wife, Peggy. Harry and his wife met in Florida and have been happily married for sixteen years. Hall credits her for inspiring him to finish Pride and Passion and for absolutely being the best thing ever in his life.
