Princess Penelope and the Secret of the Last Wizard
Twelve-year-old Penelope has a pretty normal life - for a princess anyway. Her family rules over the peaceful kingdom of Astoria, with lots of time for tea parties, lessons with her royal instructor, and the occasional joust.
Life in Astoria wasn't always so peaceful... hundreds of years ago, battles and dark magic abounded, with evil wizards seeking power and wreaking havoc across the lands. The chaos was defeated, however, and all magic faded from existence - or so it seemed.
Princess Penelope's life suddenly becomes a lot less normal when she finds herself at the center of a magical mystery - an evil wizard unveiled in her family history, a secret door hidden for centuries discovered in the castle garden... As Penelope pieces things together, she ends up in dangerous situations, crossing paths with a villain that is trying to bring the practice of dark magic back to the forefront. Princess Penelope has to rely on her wits (and a little bit of help from her friends) to solve the mystery of the secret door and protect its contents from getting into the wrong hands.

Dawn Crytzer was born and raised on an island in Western New York. She slowly moved south through Pennsylvania, picking up a mechanical engineering degree, a thirteen year career in the nuclear power industry, a husband and three awesome kids along the way. She and her family finally landed in Charlotte, North Carolina where she remembered she really wanted to be an author when she grew up.
Princess Penelope and the Secret of the Last Wizard is her debut work, and the first of many to come.
