The Looking Glass Water is about a lake of water located in the great northwest that has always been around and, yet, so few have actually ever found it. The water in the lake comes from its on spring and when anyone touches the water, the water speaks to them and tells them all that they are. Over time, different types of people find the lake glistening, reflective and refreshing, however, not everyone gets the same message from the water because each individual person is so very, very different.

The other main character is Gigot, pronounced "gidg-it". Gigot owns a mirror store...that's right, a mirror store and, who in their right mind owns a mirror store? Gigot is none too successful in his business venture until a very good friend encourages him to go on a pilgrimage to find out where he's been and, hopefully find out where he's going. It is these two characters, the water and the man named Gigot, that when they finally meet...hope is found in the most unusual of places.
