Four Chicago women in their fifties reunite years after they were students at Shorelake College for Women, to transform a decrepit mansion on campus into a 21st century center for women.

Each is navigating challenges in their individual lives as ordinary people do: rarely smoothly, often treading water, sometimes barely afloat.

Flawed, funny, occasionally furious, these four unlikely heroines are about to embark on a transformation process they never expected.
